Lauren Alexander is a nonprofit development and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting mission-driven organizations focused on environmental advocacy, conservation, women’s empowerment and equity-focused impact, and international development. Her work has centered on building strategic philanthropic partnerships, strengthening donor engagement, and developing communications that connect supporters to meaningful impact.

Lauren’s background includes institutional and individual fundraising, grant writing, donor stewardship, campaign strategy, events, partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration. She has worked across both grassroots and international organizations, helping teams build sustainable fundraising systems and deepen relationships with foundations, major donors, and community stakeholders.
Most recently, her work supported regenerative agriculture, climate resilience, and food security initiatives serving marginalized communities in East and West Africa. She is especially passionate about storytelling, relationship building, and helping organizations grow thoughtful fundraising programs.
