Miriam Lamoreaux

Miriam is a writer and non-profit development professional with a deep-seated love for the natural world and its ability to connect communities. She has spent her career working with non-profits supporting environmental and education-focused initiatives. She joined CIMA in 2026, bringing experience in institutional fundraising, grants management, event planning, development operations, and impact messaging. Miriam received a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors (Interdisciplinary Studies) and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and two husky-mixes. In her free time, she is an aerialist and enjoys rock climbing, paddleboarding, embroidering, and wandering bookshops.
