Kiyana Allen

Kiyana has more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily with environmental advocacy organizations. She joined CIMA in 2025 after supporting Sierra Club's local chapters on grant fundraising for the past eleven years. Her prior experience includes working in government relations at Defenders of Wildlife. She is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations succeed while staying true to their values. Kiyana holds a B.A. in international relations and psychology from American University in Washington, D.C. and a masters in public administration from the University of Washington, with concentrations in nonprofit management and environmental policy. She lives in Colorado with her husband, two young children, and sweet golden retriever.
